What a massive wombat weekend it was!

The 1st XI made it 3 in a row and an undefeated season with victory over old rivals South Yarra. With a lead of 117 going into the final day, all doubts were erased when the heavens opened and washed out the final day.

Nathan Green was awarded man of the match for his gritty 101 not out.

With Saturday's rain leaving much of Walker under water, the 3rd XI had a change of day, and venue for their match against the other Parkville, Youlden.

Rishi's men posted a respectable 147 on a big and slow Brens, with Rob Chapman awarded man of the match for his 47 runs.

The deference was tough with the Youlden openers combining for 79 runs before the run-rate pressure mounted and the wickets fell, and Youlden finished their allotted overs 20 runs short.

The 3s taking out their first flag since in 7 years.
